INGREDIENTS :
- 200-gram Jaggery
- 400 gram Sugar
- 1+1/4 Cup Water
- 50-gram Melon Seeds
- 100-gram Almonds
- 50-60 gram Cashew Nuts
- 100-gram Walnut
- 200-250 Gram Dry Dates
- 50-gram Fox Nuts
- 3 Tbsp Soaked Poppy Seeds
- Grated Coconut
- 100 gram Raisins + Black Raisins
- 400 gram Wheat flour
- 100-125 gram Edible Gum/Gond
- 400 gram Ghee
- 400 gram Wheat flour
How to make Gond ke Laddu?
Put 200-gram jaggery and 400-gram sugar in 1+1/4 cup water in a bowl. Keep it soaked on the side.
Now roast 50 grams of melon seeds in a pan.
After that, roast 100 grams of almonds in the same pan on low flame. Chop the almonds after they are roasted.
We also have to roast 50-60 grams of cashew nuts.
After that roast, 100 grams of walnut and cut them into small pieces.
Now roast 50 grams of fox nuts. It takes some time to roast. Then grind it with the help of a mixer. And after that, grind 200-250 gram dry dates as well.
Now we have to take 3 tbsp poppy seeds soaked in milk for 3 to 4 hours. Grated coconut and 100 grams of raisins/black raisins will also be required to make Gond ke laddu.
Now it is the turn of the main ingredients of this recipe. This is the heart of the recipe.
We have to roast the gond/gum in a pan with 100 grams of ghee on a low flame. After that, grind the gond with the mixer.
Now take a big pan and put 300 grams of ghee and 400 grams of wheat flour in it. Roast/cook it well on low flame and keep stirring it continuously.
It will be ready in about 20 to 25 minutes and its color will also change slightly and at the same time a delightful smell will also come.
Now add poppy seeds to it and mix them well.
After that, add ground fox nuts, dry dates, grated coconut, and gond in it and mix it well. Cook it for 3 to 4 minutes.
Finally, we will add the jaggery and sugar water we have prepared for it. And while cooking it, mix it well.
And then add the rest of the dry fruits that we have prepared after roasting and raisins and mix them.
The Gond ke laddu is ready. You can make laddus out of it or you can also make pieces out of it by putting it in a tray.
If you put it in a tray, you can also garnish it with dry fruit. Due to this, it will look even better and will feel like eating.
Tips & Tricks :
- Along with wheat flour, you can also add semolina/sooji flour or any Gluten-free flour.
- Instead of soaking Poppy Seeds in milk, you can also use them by roasting them in Ghee.
- We have used jaggery and sugar water in this recipe. You can also make it using only jaggery or only sugar.
- You can take dry fruits according to your choice. It is not necessary that all the dry fruits used should be the same.

Directions

- In a mixer jar, add fox nuts, walnut, and dry dates separately & coarsely grind them separately.
- Take a big pan and put 300 grams of ghee and 400 grams of wheat flour in it. Roast/cook it well on low flame and keep stirring it continuously.
