INGREDIENTS :
- 1.5 Litre Milk
- Water
- 2 Tbsp White Vinegar
- 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 2-3(700 Gram) Custard Apple
- Rose Petals/Pistachio For Garnishing
How to make Kalakand Recipe with Milk?
First, take 2 to 3 Custard apples. Separate the seed from it and take out the pulp in a bowl.
We will need about 600 to 700 grams of Custard Apple pulp.
Now pour 1 liter of milk into a wok and boil it on medium flame. We will make Khoya from this milk.
After boiling, turn off the gas. After it cools down a bit, mix 2 tbsp white vinegar in 1/2 glass of water and add it to the milk.
Will keep pouring little by little and keep stirring the milk. Mixture gradually to curdle the milk.
After the chhena is made, put it on a cloth. Then pour cold water on it. Pouring water will remove all its sourness. Then we will remove the extra water by squeezing it with our hands.
Next, set it aside for ten to fifteen minutes.
Now pour half a liter of milk into a pan and boil it. Boil it until it is reduced to half its original volume.
After that, 1/2 cup sugar has to be put in it. We have to add sugar little by little and keep cooking the milk. By doing this, the milk will also become a little thick.
Now we will crush the chhena we have made. After crushing it, we put it in milk. Mix it well and cook it.
Then turn off the gas and allow a little period of cooling. Then put the pulp of custard apple in it. And mix well.
Now our Kalakand sweet is ready.
If you want to make pieces of it, then put butter paper in a tray and spread the kalakand in it. Put Pistachio on it for garnishing.
Then keep it to cool down. After that, cut it into pieces with the help of a knife.
But if you want to decorate this kalakand nicely, then you can put it in a paper cup. Add some rose petals and pistachios as garnish.
