Ingredients:

  • 1 cup moong dal
  • Ghee as needed
  • 1.5 tbsp semolina
  • 1 cup milk
  • A pinch of saffron
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Chopped Dry fruits (cashew nuts, almonds, pistachios)
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder

How To Make Moong Dal Halwa without Soaking

First of all, wash the 1 cup moong dal thoroughly and remove moong dal into a strainer.

Then spread moong dal on a kitchen napkin to remove excess moisture.

After that, roast the moong dal in a pan on medium flame. Stirring continuously and roast until it turns light golden brown.
