How to make Rose Sharbat?
First, separate the rose petals from the flowers and wash them properly with water.
After that, put the rose petals in a bowl and add lukewarm water to it. There should be enough water to completely cover the rose petals in it.
Now put 2 cups/400 grams of sugar and 1.5 cups of water in a pan and put it on medium flame. Until the sugar is thoroughly dissolved, stir it constantly.
While the sugar is melting, put the Rose Petals on the second gas to boil on a slow flame.
All of the rose’s flavor and color will be released into the water while boiling.
When the sugar dissolves properly, then you have to add 1/2 tsp citric acid/lemon juice and 2 pinches of salt and mix it. You have to boil it for 5 minutes.
Then gradually pour boiled Rose petals water into the pan while filtering.
After that, put the remaining 2 cups/400-gram of sugar in the pan and mix it. 1 string of sugar syrup should be made.
Then switch off the flame and let the Rose Sharbat completely cool down naturally.
In the end, you put 3 to 4 drops of Kewra essence in it. It will enhance the flavor of sharbat.
If you had like the sharbat to be a deeper shade of red, you can add a bit of red food color. (Optional)
