Dry fruit Chikki Recipe | Nutritius Chikki
Chikki is one such sweet of the winter season that is made at every home and everyone likes it. We are going to give you a different variation of the chikki recipe. Although this chikki is called dry fruit chikki, we call it Nutritius Chikki. It is acceptable to refer to this chikki as Nutritius Chikki because dry fruits are particularly nutritious.

In contrast to the classic chikki recipe, which only requires peanuts and jaggery syrup, this one includes a variety of mixed nuts. It can be served as dessert after or during the meal, although it is typically produced as a sweet snack to be taken with a cup of tea.
The use of mixed premium nuts is the primary factor. The energy bars that are sold commercially are identical to those in this recipe. Perhaps they could provide a wider variety of nuts that have flavors like chocolate or coconut in them to make them more tempting. INGREDIENTS :
- 200 grams of Dry Fruits (Almond, Cashew nut, Pistachio)
- 200 grams Sugar
- Ghee
How to make Dry fruit Chikki (Nutritius Chikki)?
We will need dry fruit to make the dry fruit chikki (nutritius chikki). For this, you have to take Almonds, Cashew nuts, and Pistachios. By mixing all these you have to take 200 grams.
Chop all the dry fruits. We are going to roast dry fruits because roasting will make the chikki crispy.
For this, put 1 tbsp of ghee in a pan and heat it. Then put cashew nut in it and roast it. You have to roast it till it turns slightly brown.
Then put 1 tbsp oil in the same pan and roast the almonds in it. Almonds will take a little more time to roast than cashew nuts.
Add 1/2 tbsp ghee to the pan and roast the pistachio. It will get roasted very quickly.
Now clean the pan because we are going to melt the sugar in it.
Now put 1 spoon of Ghee and 200 grams of sugar in the pan. You have to melt it at low to medium flame.
You melt it until the sugar becomes the liquid of the whole piglet.
Now, while the sugar is melting, grease the surface on which you are going to make chikki with oil. With this, when the chikki gets frozen, it will be easy to remove it.
When the sugar melts properly, add dry fruits to it and mix them. You have to do all this on low flame.
After it is mixed properly, pour it on the surface on which you are going to make chikki.
Then roll it with an oiled rolling pin. Roll out the chikki as much as you want to keep it thick.
Now, using a knife, slice it. You have to cut the chikki at the very beginning because it will be difficult to cut it after it cools down.
Homemade Dry fruit Chikki (Nutritius Chikki) is ready.
Tips & Tricks :
- You can also add grated coconut, melon seeds, and poppy seeds to make this chikki.
- You can also use jaggery syrup instead of sugar.
