  • 1 bowl of whole moong dal

  • 7-8 curry leaves
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper powder

  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 2 tbsp shredded coconut
  • oil or butter

  • 2 onions finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp coriander leaves chopped
  • 1 small bowl of grated paneer
  • salt and red chili powder as per taste


Steps for Whole moong dal dosa :

First of all, take whole moong dal soaked overnight. Moong dal needs to soak for a minimum of six hours.

Then put soaked moong dal, half a bowl of water, a piece of ginger, 2 green chilies, and 7-8 curry leaves in a mixer jar. Grind them and make a paste.

After that, transfer the batter into a large mixing bowl and add 1 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp black pepper powder, 1 tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp coriander powder and 2 tbsp shredded coconut. Mix well.

Heat a non-stick pan or a cast-iron skillet on medium heat. Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan and spread it in a circular motion to make a thin dosa.

This dosa does not become very thin as it has a lot of fiber in it.

Then drizzle some oil around the edges and cook the dosa for 1-2 minutes until it turns golden brown.

Dosa is cooked for one more minute on the other side after being flipped.

When the other side is cooked, then turn it back and add grated paneer, chopped onion, finely chopped green coriander, salt, and red chili powder as per taste.

After it is cooked well, we will make dosa rolls.
