INGREDIENTS :
- 4 Potato
- Water as required
- 2 tbsp Rice flour
- 2 tbsp White Sesame seeds
For the batter
- 3-4 tbsp Rice flour
- 4 tbsp All purpose flour
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
- Oil for frying
For Honey Chilli Potato
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 1 tbsp Garlic
- 1 tbsp Green Onion
- 2 chopped Green Chili
- 1 Capsicum
- Roasted white Sesame seeds
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 tbsp Red Chili sauce
- 1/2 tsp Soya sauce
- 1 tbsp Tomato sauce
- Water as required
- 2 tsp Vinegar
- 2 tsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Kashmiri Red Chili Powder
- 1 tbsp Corn Starch
- Spring Onion
- 1 tbsp Honey
How to make Honey Chilli Potato?
Firstly, potatoes should be peeled and chopped into slices like French fries and put in Water.
Then boil the chopped potatoes for 3-4 mins and take them out. Let it totally cool.
After that, put the boiled potato fingers in a bowl and put 2 tbsp rice flour on them for dry coating. Mix them properly and keep them aside.
Now we will make batter to make the potato crispy.
Take a bowl, put 3 to 4 tbsp Rice Flour, 4 tbsp All Purpose Flour, 1 tsp Black Pepper Powder, and salt according to taste.
Then make a thin batter, combine, and gradually add more water.
Boiled potatoes should then be added, and the mixture should be completely mixed before finishing.
Now heat the wok by adding oil to fry the potatoes.
The potatoes should be cooked in batches over a low to medium flame until they reach a light golden brown color. When finished, place them on a dish.
Then, deep-fry the potatoes for a second time in the hot oil. This will make sure that the potatoes are really crispy on the outside after one minute of flash frying.
Put them on a dish once you are finished.
Now put 2 tbsp White Sesame seeds in a pan and roast them on a medium flame. Once they begin to pop, off the flame and place them aside.
In a pan, put 1 tbsp oil and heat it.
Then put 1 tbsp finely chopped garlic, 1 tbsp spring onions, and 2 chopped green chilies. Mix well and cook them.
After that add 1 long chopped capsicum and roasted White Sesame Seeds and mix it properly.
Now add 1 tsp black pepper and salt as per taste and mix it.
Then put 1 tbsp red chili sauce, 1/2 tsp soya sauce, and 1 tbsp tomato sauce in it. Mix it well.
After that, put water in it as per requirement and cook it properly.
Take 2 tbsp water in a bowl, then put 1 tsp Corn Starch in it and mix it well and keep it aside.
Now put the corn flour liquid, 2 tsp vinegar, 2 tsp sugar, and 1 tsp Kashmiri Red Chili Powder in the pan and mix it well.
Cook them well and then put the fried Potato Fingers and the green leafy part of the spring onion and mix them all.
Chilli Potato is ready. If anyone does not want to eat Chilli Potato with Honey, then you can serve it.
For Honey Chilli Potato, put 1 tbsp Honey in it and mix nicely.
In this way, a delicious and crispy Honey Chili Potato will get ready to serve. Serve immediately topped with additional sesame seeds and spring onion.
