- 4 boiled Potatoes
- 1/2 Mint leaves powder
- 1/2 Tsp Mango powder
- 1 Tsp Salt
- 1/2 Red Chili powder
- 1/2 Tsp Coriander powder
- 1/4 Tsp Black Pepper powder
- 1/4 Tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/4 Ginger powder
- 1.5 Tbsp Oil
- 2 Cups/250-260 grams Gram flour
How to make Aloo Bhujia?
First of all, you have to take 4 boiled potatoes and grate them. Keep in mind that you have to grate the potatoes only after they cool down completely.
Then you have to put grated potatoes in the bowl. In it you will need 1/2 Mint leaves powder, 1/2 Tsp mango powder, 1 Tsp salt, 1/2 red chili powder, 1/2 Tsp coriander powder, 1/4 Tsp black pepper powder, 1/4 Tsp turmeric powder, 1/4 ginger powder and 1.5 Tbsp of oil are to be added.
Combine all these properly.
A large bowl should be used to combine the potato mixture with the required amount of gram flour to bind the dough.
The dough shouldn’t be too loose or too tight.
After this, grease the Sev Maker and thin lattice plate with oil and put the Aloo Bhujia Dough in it.
Now heat the oil in a deep pan for frying.
Make the Aloo Bhujia/Aloo Sev in medium heated oil. Fry the Aloo Bhujia until golden brown and crispy.
Repeat the process with the remaining Aloo Bhujia dough.
Making the Aloo Bhujia/Aloo Sev without Sev Maker
For this, you have to take the same tool as shown in the photo, by which we will make sev.
It is then used to make Sev, which is made by grating it with a grater after adding a few drops of water to the dough and applying some water to your hands.
Fried it till it turns crispy. Then Remove the oil and place it on a kitchen towel to drain the excess oil.
Your homemade Aloo Bhujia is ready to be served. Enjoy it with a cup of tea or coffee as a snack.

- Use dry and mature potatoes for better results. If the potatoes have too much moisture, the Bhujia may turn out soft and not crispy.
