Tips & Tricks:

  • Use dry and mature potatoes for better results. If the potatoes have too much moisture, the Bhujia may turn out soft and not crispy.
  • Do not overmix the ingredients. Mix them lightly to prevent the formation of lumps in the batter.
  • To check if the oil is hot enough, drop a small piece of the dough in the oil, and if it sizzles and rises to the surface immediately, the oil is ready.
  • Fry the Bhujia in small batches to avoid overcrowding the pan, which may result in uneven cooking.
  • Allow the Bhujia to cool completely before storing them in an airtight container. This will help to maintain their crispiness.
