What sets it apart is its preparation, which excludes certain ingredients that are typically avoided during fasting, such as grains like rice and semolina. Instead, fasting-friendly substitutes like sama rice (barnyard millet) or kuttu atta (buckwheat flour) are used to make it suitable for eating during fasting time.
Despite being prepared without grains, Vrat Ki Idlis are packed with nutrition. Sama rice and kuttu atta are rich in fiber and essential minerals, making them a healthy choice for fasting days.
