Ingredients:
- 1 cup of sabudana
- 4 boiled and mashed potatoes
- 1/2 cup coarse peanuts
- 2-3 finely chopped green chillies
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp mango powder (amchur powder)
- 1 tsp crushed coriander seeds
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 3-4 tbsp coriander leaves
- 1 finely chopped onions
- Salt to taste
- Oil
Steps To Make Sabudana Vada in Air Fryer
Start by washing the 1 cup of sabudana under cold water until the water runs clear.
Then soak the sabudana in water for at least 3 to 4 hours until they become soft.
After 3 to 4 hours, drain any excess water using a strainer.
In a large mixing bowl, add soaked sabudana, 4 boiled and mashed potatoes, 1/2 cup coarse peanuts, 2-3 finely chopped green chilies, 1/2 tsp chili powder, 1/2 tsp cumin powder, 1/2 tsp mango powder (amchur powder), 1 tsp crushed coriander seeds, 1 tsp garam masala, 3-4 tbsp coriander leaves, 1 finely chopped onions, and salt to taste.
Mix all the ingredients well until they are properly combined.
After that, take a small portion of the mixture and shape it into a round patty or ball. In a similar way make a patty until all the mixture is used.
Now, preheat your air fryer to 180°C for about 5 minutes.
Then grease the oil in the air fryer basket and place the vada in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Air fry the vada at 180°C for 20 to 25 minutes.
Flip them halfway through the cooking time. Cook until they turn golden brown and crispy on the outside.
Once done, remove the sabudana vada from the air fryer and transfer them to a plate.
Your sabudana vada is ready. Serve it hot with green chutney, tamarind chutney, or yogurt for dipping.
